Many contractors within the High-Tech Industry are not in compliance with the insurance requirements contained in the agreements they have signed. Non-compliance in this area could cause termination of the agreement and could also cause the company you are performing work for to be penalized because you do not qualify as an independent contractor.

At Garland-Sturges & Quirk, we have designed a dedicated insurance program specifically designed for the hardware/software consultant.

In addition to providing the $1,000,000 liability coverage that your contract requires, we have bundled protection into this package to cover your equipment including laptops.

In most cases, coverage goes into effect the same day you call our office.

Products Liability Exclusion Agreement

We understand that any claims arising from our products (or alleged to arise from our products) are NOT COVERED BY THE POLICY we have ordered through Garland-Sturges & Quirk.
We further understand that the exclusion of products liability coverage also means the exclusion of any legal costs, which might be necessary to defend us against such claims, regardless of merit.
Garland-Sturges & Quirk has further advised us that our contractual liability COVERAGES are limited. If we contractually agree to assume any liability for our products, we assume this personally as it is not insured by the policy we have ordered.
We acknowledge that this exclusion of products liability coverage applies to all future policies, including any renewal policies or policies that might be placed with other companies in the future.

We have read this agreement and acknowledge these limitations.
